DNA: Freed to Be Different People

In this five-week series, Pastor Sam walks through the essential attributes of Grace and Peace, what we call our DNA. This week Sam turns to 2 Corinthians 5, to look at the idea that when we believe the Gospel we are made into new people, freed from our past mistakes and sin.

2 Corinthians 5:14-19

The Story of Redemption

The Gospel (which means “Good New” in Greek) is the story of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. While there are four Gospel accounts of Jesus’ life, John is written from a unique style which is both poetic and profound. Over the next several months Grace & Peace will walking through the Gospel of John.

This week we will look at the Apostle John’s focus on the incarnation. These first verses introduce the book, but they also introduce the Apostle’s primary understanding that Jesus is God-in-the-flesh.

Proverbs: Work

Over the next 12 weeks Pastor Sam will work topic by topic through the book of Proverbs. In the second sermon of the series we focus in on the topic of work in the book of Proverbs. While work is often something to avoid or something to be dominated by, Pastor Sam argues that work is a good thing within healthy boundaries.
